Start the Year with Less Pain and More Wellness: 3 New Year's Resolutions
The start of a new year is the perfect opportunity to reflect on our well-being and adopt habits that improve our quality of life. If you live with chronic pain, stress, anxiety or sleep problems, it's time to take charge with achievable goals. Today we present three goals to start the year with more energy, less pain and better health, thanks to NESA non-invasive neuromodulation.
1. Self-care and well-being resolutions
Set realistic goals for your mental and physical health:
You don't need drastic changes to transform your well-being. Set small, achievable goals, such as spending 10 minutes a day doing gentle stretches or practicing mindful breathing. These actions are not only easy to incorporate into your daily routine, but also have great long-term benefits.
Benefits of small daily changes:
NESA® non-invasive neuromodulation can be your ally in this process. This treatment neuromodulates the autonomic nervous system to reduce pain and improve overall function, making it easier to create self-care habits. Imagine starting the year with less discomfort, more energy and greater motivation to take care of yourself.
Patient testimonial: Mari Carmen, a fibromyalgia patient, shared how NESA transformed her life. After years of relying on anti-inflammatories, she was able to stop taking them almost completely thanks to the treatment. She can now enjoy her day-to-day life with more energy and less pain, and feels grateful for the improvement she has experienced.

2. Stress and Anxiety Management
Simple routines to reduce stress:
Spending 5 minutes a day on a breathing exercise or guided meditation can make all the difference. Combine this with NESA to improve your nervous system's response to stress. This dual approach calms your mind and body, helping you face challenges with more serenity.
Patient testimonial: a shift towards well-being
For many people, finding relief from stress and anxiety seemed unattainable until they discovered NESA medical technology. This treatment not only helped him calm his mind, but also marked a turning point in his quality of life. Thanks to NESA, he managed to regain peace of mind and face his day-to-day life with more balance.

3. Quality Sleep for a Fresh Start
Adopt habits to improve your sleep:
Set a fixed bedtime and create a relaxing routine before going to bed. Reduce screen time and try relaxation techniques such as deep breathing. For those who struggle with pain-related insomnia, non-invasive neuromodulation can be key. This treatment improves the regulation of the nervous system, promoting deeper and more restful sleep cycles.
The connection between rest and pain management:
A good night's sleep not only improves your mood, but also helps to reduce the perception of pain. When you combine healthy habits with NESA® microcurrents, the positive impact is multiplied, giving you the energy you need to live each day to the full.
Patient testimonial: Francisco Javier, 61, faced severe insomnia after the loss of his wife in 2015. He depended on sleeping medication and suffered from constant night-time awakenings that left him exhausted. After starting treatment with NESA®, he noticed a significant improvement in the depth of his sleep and a reduction in the anxiety associated with his work and lifestyle. Now, he is in the process of gradually reducing his medication and feels calmer and more rested.

Living with pain is very sad, very sad, very sad. You feel like crying, but I can't cry, I can't cry. So, I fight, I fight to feel well, to go out every morning and afternoon. I have a husband who supports me, so I keep going. Life, this life, is a struggle, no matter where you look.
I have stopped taking anti-inflammatory medication since I started coming to NESA. I have also recovered from anemia, which was concerning my doctor. It seems like the anemia was caused by the anti-inflammatory drugs.
I don’t know what else to say. My name is Mari Carmen, and as Aranza says, I have fought a lot with fibromyalgia, a lot. Before coming here, I spent years seeing a chiropractor. He always told me, ‘You need to stop taking anti-inflammatory medication,’ but I wasn't myself without it.
One day, my hairdresser told me, ‘Mari Carmen, I have a client with fibromyalgia who goes to NESA, and she is very happy. I asked for the details for you because I can see you are struggling.’ I got the details, my daughter looked it up online, she liked what she saw, and here I am.
I’m very happy, very happy. For me, quitting anti-inflammatory medication is something huge. I can't believe that I'm not taking any. Occasionally, I take a little bit, but I try not to. It helps me so much, so much.
I am very grateful. If you saw the hugs I give, it’s because I feel it, because it comes naturally. It helps me a lot. At the center, I feel very comfortable, very comfortable, with Ana too.
When something works well for me, I want to share it with others. I take business cards from the center and hand them out to people I see struggling. Some have come, others haven’t, but everyone has to decide for themselves. My job is just to share my experience.
Roberto Fariñas
I used a smartwatch to track my sleep, and I went from having only 15–25 minutes of deep sleep to an hour after the sessions. It really helped me confirm that the improvements I was feeling in my body were real, not just something in my head.
Hello, I’m Albert Moreno, a physiotherapist and osteopath, and the director of BL Clinic in Barcelona. Today, I present the case of Roberto Fariñas, a 36-year-old patient who came to the clinic with chronic muscle fatigue, lack of sleep, and, during the anamnesis, we identified a major contributing factor: stress and anxiety.
I’m Roberto Fariñas. I currently manage projects in the medical sector, mainly involving 3D printing. I discovered NESA during a period of intense work-related stress and anxiety. I also had a couple of exercise-related injuries.
We explained to him that physiotherapy would help, but our goal was to maintain his quality of life in the long term. We introduced him to the NESA device, explained our objectives, especially regarding sleep quality and chronic fatigue, and with the first set of sessions, he already noticed an improvement.
After just a few sessions, I started sleeping better and feeling calmer in my daily life. Before, my life was very hectic. Eventually, he stopped coming for conventional treatments but continued using the NESA device. We even encourage patients to monitor their own progress.
I confirmed my improvements using a smartwatch, which is also a good tool for tracking sleep. My deep sleep improved, I woke up more rested, and I still continue with occasional sessions. They help me a lot. I leave feeling very relaxed, and between sessions, I stay much better rested than I expected, given my previous pace of life.
Our ultimate goal is not only to improve patients’ quality of life but also to educate them so they can track their own progress. We are very happy with the results.
Francisco Javier
In 2015, my wife passed away, and after that, I started having trouble sleeping. What I noticed was an improvement in my sleep—I was sleeping a little deeper, waking up less. This also helped me with anxiety and stress.
I am Aída Sabina, a physiotherapist and CEO of Aída Sabina Fisioterapia. Today, I present the case of Xavier, a 61-year-old patient.
My name is Francisco Javier. I work in engineering and am self-employed. In 2015, my wife passed away, and since then, I’ve struggled with sleep. Doctors prescribed Orfidal to help me sleep, but over time, the dosage kept increasing. I suffer from insomnia, struggle to fall asleep, wake up multiple times, and feel exhausted in the morning. My job is stressful, and I also had a motorcycle accident, resulting in multiple surgeries. I had to undergo reconstructive surgery on my knee and elbow, which caused ongoing pain.
I decided to start NESA treatment for help. I’ve had about 30 sessions now. At first, it was great, but I was still taking sleeping pills. After the first 10 sessions, I noticed an improvement in sleep. I was sleeping a bit deeper and waking up less.
This also helped me manage stress and anxiety from work and life in general. I felt less pressure in my chest. Surprisingly, after the seventh session, my knee and elbow pain disappeared. After the tenth or twelfth session, I saw a complete improvement in my sleep.
At that point, we decided to start gradually reducing my Orfidal dosage. I now continue with NESA treatment once a week. I’m handling the reduction well, with no anxiety about taking fewer pills.
Now, I’m almost at the end of the process—I take half a pill one day and skip two days. The idea of completely stopping the last half pill is a little scary, but hopefully, in the near future, I won’t need medication to sleep. So far, things are looking good.
